You Can Now Stream a Netflix Movie for Free

You can now watch To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before on Netflix, even if you haven’t got a Netflix account. The streaming service is making the film available to everyone, including non-subscribers, ahead of the release of its sequel. But you’ll have to be quick.

Stream “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” for Free

In 2018, Netflix released To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. The teen romance starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, is based on a book by the same name. The film was a hit with most critics, and Netflix then announced it was producing two sequels.

The first of those two sequels, called To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, is now available on Netflix. And to mark the occasion, Netflix has made the first film available for all to watch. Even non-subscribers. At least in the US and Canada.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is available to watch for free between now and March 9, 2020. All you need to do is head to the film’s page on Netflix and click Play Now. If you can’t see that then you’re either too late or visiting from an unsupported territory.

Netflix isn’t giving this film away for free out of the goodness of its heart. Instead, it’s just a way of persuading you to subscribe. And in case To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before isn’t a draw, Netflix makes you sit through a trailer for more of its original content.

Netflix Gives Content Away for Free

This isn’t the first time Netflix has employed a freemium strategy. In 2019, Netflix offered the first episode of The Crown Season 3 in the UK. It has also offered individual episodes of shows in India and South America, with the hopes of persuading people to subscribe.

However, this is the first time Netflix has employed the strategy in North America, which is historically its biggest market. And while, as a teenage romance, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before won’t appeal to everyone, Netflix could offer more free content over time.

Other Ways to Watch Free Movies Online

While Netflix giving away a free movie is appreciated, it’s only intended to persuade people to sign up for a subscription. However, if you cannot afford to pay for Netflix, here are the best free movie sites and the best free movie apps you can check out instead.
